The Xitadel Group hosted the ‘2016 CAE Thought Leadership’ meet, a two day event in Bangalore to discuss Next Generation CAE. Eight organizations including key automotive OEM’s like Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), GM, Mahindra, Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI), Renault-Nissan and Volvo attended this intensive two day program to collectively reflect on the direction of CAE technology and also its potential implications on CAE resources, expertise and processes.
The team reviewed and discussed significant CAE trends covering materials, CFD, thermal, process automation, validation and stochastics, EVs, Passive-Active safety, Human Body models, Road-Lab Math, etc. The companies also explored synergy specifically with regard to sharing of generic CAE knowledge.
“The event achieved its objective”, said Prakash “Krish” Krishnaswamy, CEO of Xitadel Group. “The participants were enthusiastic and felt that semi-annual follow-up meetings would be of great value to the CAE community as it positions itself for the future”.
