The Position

The role of HR Manager – Strategy and Operations is a vital role for the company’s onboarding and management of its talent.

Reports to: CEO
Designation: HR Manager – Strategy and Operations
Joining Period: One month

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR
  • Onboard & manage Indian and overseas employees.
  • Manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Accountable for end-to-end HR Operations including HRIS, Compensation & Benefits, Reporting & Analytics and Employee Engagement Programs.
  • Manage administration of complete employee lifecycle including on-boarding, off-boarding, HR-related intranet maintenance, resource movement, immigration, verification of employment, relocation, induction, orientation etc.
  • Ensure statutory compliance and managing audit requirements drive through process and solutions that drive efficiency, reduce the cost of operations and mitigate operational risk.
  • Provide a broad range of administrative services to our internal HR partners and leadership including support for data/reporting/analytics for hiring, performance management, promotions with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Lead end-to-end implementation and execution of core HR programs or initiatives as needed.
  • Establish and maintain HR policies and procedures which will add both operational and strategic value.
  • Implement Quality systems and standards.

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • To manage all employees of the department and be responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.
  • Be aware of Information Security and Quality policies and objectives for the standards.
  • Participate in Business Continuity exercises and tests
  • Understand and contribute to the effectiveness of QMS including the benefits of improvement performance.
  • Proactively suggest areas of improvement in respective processes

Qualifications and Experience
Master’s degree in HR preferred

  • 10 to 15 years’ experience covering all HR functions.
  • Must have experience in Services and/or Staffing organizations
  • Experience in HR planning for growth is a strong plus
  • Experience in HR management for growth in Germany and Japan strongly preferred
  • Good experience in Quality processes preferred.
